The METCON 10 has a reactx midsole made of soft, reactive foam that was developed for a steamed running feeling, ideal for short sprints, box jumps and movements with high mobility. This is how athletes remain comfortable and explosive during the entire training session.

A newly designed and lighter hyperlift plate in the heel ensures maximum stability for heavy lifting exercises such as squats, cross lifting and implementing by distributing the weight down and outside and at the same time increasing the rigidity in the heel. A wider forefoot area and an improved outsole offer more support for strength and control.

“The Reactx foam ensures that the MetCON 10 feels more reactions than ever before, and the updated hyperlift plate offers more stability without affecting flexibility,” says Rad Lopez, Nike Trainer. “Regardless of whether I do strength training or HIIT – or both – I think the Metcon 10 is made to perform at top performance.”

A haptically printed upper material increases heavily stressed areas such as the midfoot and the toes, improves the grip and the durability without adding any additional weight. Durable rubber extends from the outsole to the midsole to withstand the abrasion through exercises such as rope climbing, asphalt and lawn workouts. A midfoot belt improves the fit and offers more support for dynamic movements, while a TPU clip on the heel increases the side stability and reduces the friction on the wall with handstand lounges.

“The key to a comprehensive training program is to carry out squats, bends, pressing, pulling, lifting, rotation and counter -rotations. The metal of the metCON 10 gives me the certainty that my ankles and feet are well supported on these multidirectional movements,” says Darren Tomasso, Nike coach. “With the Metcon 10 I no longer need several pairs of shoes for a single training session. Now I can hardly lift without feeling stressed; when jumping, jumping and feathers move lightly and freely; and dynamically move without having to worry about slipping out.”

In addition, the gripy rubber in the forefoot area and long -lasting grip offers dynamic movements such as soulsters and jumps, while flexer in the midsole ensure a soft transition from the heel to the toes at sprints.

The breathable upper material promotes air circulation and holds the athlete: in every repetition cool and comfortable, and a new lace -up system minimizes distractions when moving with high loads by securing the laces in an inconspicuous bag.

Strategically placed recesses in the outsole increase the flexibility in the forefoot area and reduce the weight of the METCON 10, which makes it feel significantly easier than the previous models. “Heavy lifting requires a strong connection between mind and muscles. The Metcon 10 is so stable that it helps me to eliminate distractions and to concentrate fully on my repetitions,” says Claire Prince, Nike coach. “The silhouette feels much easier than the previous versions. It has developed further to maintain its structural integrity without difficult.”

The Nike Metcon 10 will be available in women and men’s sizes worldwide on the Nike website and from selected dealers from August 4th.
