Nightwish soloist Floor Jansen, 41, previously said on his Twitter account that he has breast cancer and will undergo surgery.
Now the artist updates his post-surgery status on his Instagram account.
– The surgery went well and without surprises. I’m recovering well and soon I’ll be back on my feet, Jansen openly tells his followers.

In his recovery publication, he thanks the hospital staff for their good treatment and care.
According to the singer, after breast surgery, it takes a few weeks before he finds out about the quality of the operated tumor and whether the cancer has progressed.
At least there is no acute situation with the cancer yet, because Jansen learned earlier that the cancer has not spread and is not aggressive.
– I’m going to keep my chest, Jansen wrote at the time.
However, the singer promises to keep his followers informed about his health. Despite his situation, he is optimistic about the European tour starting in November.
As for the cancer, he is next waiting for radiation treatment, which will start within three months.
