Nicolay Merkt has decided to give up his position as Managing Director at Fashion ID. He is leaving the company, confirmed the Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf group of companies at the request of FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on the personnel.
Merkt had held the role of managing director at the online retailer since 2014. According to his Linkedin profile, he has also been Head of Digital & Online Marketing at Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf since 2019. Fashion ID GmbH & Co. KG operates the e-commerce platforms of the P&C Group. According to the Düsseldorf fashion retailer, he “successfully advanced the establishment and further development of the group’s online business”.
Sven Bernhardttle, who as CCO at P&C is responsible for online and CRM, and Dennis Sternberg, Managing Director at Fashion ID, are now responsible for the online business “until further notice”.
