NHL: Tim Stützle cannot prevent the Ottawa Senators from going bankrupt

As of: March 2nd, 2024 9:01 a.m

Two goal assists from national ice hockey player Tim Stützle were not enough for the Ottawa Senators to win in the NHL. The team from the Canadian capital lost 3:5 to the Arizona Coyotes, who had previously been unsuccessful in 14 games, on Saturday night (March 2nd, 2024).

After trailing 3-0, the Senators were able to equalize thanks to Stützle’s two assists before the final third, but two more goals for the Coyotes sealed the defeat. Ottawa’s already slim chances of making the playoffs have shrunk further.

Forsberg complains about the weak initial phase

We have to be ready from the start“said goalkeeper Anton Forsberg.”We have to work to score the first goal. It’s always easier to play with a lead and not constantly chase a deficit.
