NHL: Draisaitl loses – Peterka makes debut – NHL – ice hockey

Due to coronary cases in the Buffalo Sabers team, John-Jason Peterka made his NHL debut. The 19-year-old native of Munich stood on the ice for 16 minutes against the New Jersey Devils. The Sabers lost 3: 4 (0: 2, 2: 0, 1: 2). Peterka had started the season with the Buffalos farm team.

Overtime defeat for Grubauer

Goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer had to accept a 2: 3 (1: 1, 0: 0, 1: 1) home defeat with the Seattle Kraken after extra time against the Philadelphia Flyers. After 2:14 minutes in extra time, the guests scored the winning goal. Grubauer parried 19 of the 22 shots on his goal.

NHL changed quarantine regulations

Also on Wednesday, the NHL announced that the quarantine would be reduced for players who tested positive, symptom-free, such as the NFL football league and the NBA basketball league. Affected professionals only have to go into quarantine for five days instead of the previous ten.

The situation in the NHL is a bit complicated, however, as seven teams from Canada are active in the ice hockey league. Stricter quarantine times continue to apply there.
