The 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 has given another talent from his own youth with a professional contract. U19 interior defender Adam Kölle has extended his expiring contract by one year by 2026, according to the Bundesliga club. In the coming season he will be part of the chief coach Frank Schmidt.

“Adam has developed this step through his achievements in our U19, in which he held a clear leadership role. As a robust and capricious central defender, he brings the corresponding prerequisites, which is why we want to give him the opportunity to prove himself in our professional team in the new season,” said CEO Holger Sanwald.

Kölle, who came from Reutlingen to the Heidenheim U17 in 2022, said: “To be able to sign my first professional contract, is a great privilege for me, for me, for which I am very grateful. I will do everything I can to use this chance from summer and I’m already looking forward to it.”
