★★★★ Remarkable mini-series about a history professor in Moscow, present to investigate newly discovered Soviet documents. But behind that there are murders, and a growing danger that is interwoven with the history of the USSR. Remarkable not only for the performances (Craig is great, always), but also for the way in which the plot and the direction make the police and the historical the same fabric.
