New York Knicks lose after record quarter

Despite a record start, the German national player Isaiah Hartenstein suffered a home defeat with his New York Knicks in the professional basketball league NBA.

In the 135-145 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, the hosts recorded 48 points in the first quarter – a club record for the number one period.

Center Hartenstein was in the Knicks’ starting lineup and had 14 points and seven rebounds, while New York suffered its seventh loss in its 13th game of the season at Madison Square Garden. Top scorer of the day was OKC professional Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 37 points.
