THE‘Australia greets the New Year 2026 with a show that illuminated the Sydney skydyeing the bay with a thousand colors. While the world still awaits the stroke of midnight, on the other side of the planet i fireworks over the Opera House officially kicked off the global celebrations.
But this year was not just a moment of celebration. Just before the big New Year’s Eve fireworks display, Sydney gathered in a touching minute of silence: a shared tribute to commemorate the victims of the tragic attack of last December 14th Bondi Beach. A silent passage between memory and hope, before the light of the fires returned to shine on the most famous port in the world.
