The sportswear provider Jako AG has expanded the branch network of its Teamshop89 concept to 34 locations.
On Monday, the company announced the opening of Teamshop89 Sport Nanka in the eastern Bavarian city of Amberg. Since November 25th, sportswear for clubs, teams and companies has been offered on an area of 150 square meters at Dr.-Dörfler-Straße 6.
Jako relies on working with a proven partner. “The Nanka sports store has a tradition going back over 30 years,” it said in a statement. “Over time, there was increasing specialization as an outfitter for clubs, companies and sports associations – with a focus on indoor sports and the business sector. As the new Teamshop89, Sport Nanka is perfectly positioned to meet the needs of sports and corporate teams.”
Owner Roy Nanka highlighted the benefits of the partnership. “I think the concept is totally brilliant – the collaboration with Jako’s Teamshop89 team is very close and you receive very professional support,” he explained in a statement. “This means that we, as small retailers, can use the performance of Jako as a large player and professionalize ourselves accordingly. That is the biggest advantage for me among many others.”
