The Austrian sporting goods retailer Blue Tomato GmbH has further expanded its branch network. On Friday, the board sports specialist from Schladming announced the opening of a new store in downtown Frankfurt am Main. The shop at Fahrgasse 111 has a retail area of almost 230 square meters and, according to the company, is Blue Tomato’s 32nd shop in Germany.
Tara Kritsch, Retail Expansion Manager at Blue Tomato, explained the choice of location: “Due to the brisk expansion in recent years, Germany has proven to be one of the most important markets for Blue Tomato. Therefore, with the opening, we are taking the next important and logical step in order to be able to optimally reach our customers in Germany’s fifth largest city,” she explained in a statement. “As an important economic and commercial center, Frankfurt am Main has a very large catchment area, and in the new shop we want to offer our customers in the region the best possible service directly on site.”
