Last week it was the turn of Dirk De fauw and Jos Sypré, among others, to take the oath of office before the governor as mayors of Bruges and Beernem respectively.
Today it is up to Isabelle Degezelle to take the lead as the first female mayor of Zwevegem. She leads the coalition of CD&V and N-VA and replaces the previous mayor Marc Doutreluingne.
