The American shoe provider Skechers USA Inc. further expands its presence in Germany. On Monday, the real estate service provider IPH announced that the brand will open a new store in the Bavarian city of Senden.
Skechers chose the “Iller Center” retail center as the location. The brand will probably open its new shop there in June. The shoe provider receives space with an area of 674 square meters, which were previously used by the Schiesser laundry brand. “The new rental corresponds to the manufacturer’s expansion strategy, which is targeting specialist market centers,” said the IPH Group, which has been responsible for renting the commercial space in the “Iller Center” since 2022.
“With this opening in Senden, Skechers shows his confidence in the attractiveness of the location and at the same time further enhances it,” said IPH Manager Lars Jähnichen in a statement. “The prominent location in the ‘Iller Center’ ensures high visibility and makes the new store a highlight for visitors in the region.”
