A. (Alexander) Pechtold has been appointed mayor of the municipality of Delft. On the proposal of Minister Uitermark of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Council of Ministers decided to nominate him for appointment. The appointment starts on September 4, 2025.
Mr Pechtold (59 years old) is a member of D66. He is general director of the Central Bureau for Driving Skills (CBR).
Marja van Bijsterveldt-Vliegenthart is currently mayor of the municipality of Delft.
