The Stuttgart fashion retailer Breuninger has a new managing director for the Düsseldorf flagship store.
David Zimmermann has been in the position since this month, according to his Linkedin profile. Breuninger confirmed the personal details at FashionUnited’s request.
He comes from the KaDeWe Group, where he was Area Sales Manager at the Munich luxury department store Oberpollinger. Before that he worked for Breuninger in Düsseldorf as head of the department for men’s premium, designer, exquisite, sportswear and bulk clothing.
Dual management at Breuninger in Düsseldorf
Andreas Rebbelmund, who has been the managing director of the Düsseldorf Breuninger flagship for more than nine years, is delighted in a Linkedin post about Zimmermann’s return: “Welcome back David Zimmermann. In sport it is always said that you come back even stronger. True to this motto, I am all the happier to manage our flagship store in Düsseldorf with you after your return to Breuninger!”
Rebbelmund remains active in his position as managing director.
