To address these speed issues, the latest firmware update, FritzOS 8.26, has been released for the Fritzbox 7510. The company does not explicitly mention the problems in its communication, but it highly recommends users perform the update. Fixing the Speed Throttle
The main benefit of the FritzOS 8.26 update is the correction of the speed limitation issue.
