Director of the Kansas City Police Department Stacey Graves reported that Wednesday’s shooting at the Super Bowl championship party is most obviously caused by a dispute between several people, the New York Times and CBC reported.

Graves said at a news conference Thursday that one person was killed and 22 others were injured in the shooting. The championship celebration of the NFL team Kansas City Chiefs was held in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

According to the CBC, eight of the injured are in critical condition, seven have serious and six have minor injuries.

Half of the injured were between the ages of 6 and 15. A total of 11 children are being treated at a local hospital. None of them are in critical condition, but nine of them have gunshot wounds.

Police arrested three people on suspicion of shooting. Two of them are under 18 years old. They haven’t been charged with anything yet. The shooting has no connection to terrorism.

– I am angry about what happened in our city, Graves said at the press conference.

Graves praised the employees and firefighters at his facility and the bystanders who stopped one of the shooters.

On Thursday, there was news about an NFL fan living in the city of Omaha About Paul Contreras, who tackled one of the shooters. Due to the force of Contreras’ tackle, the shooter’s gun flew to the ground.

Contreras and another person jumped to lay on top of the shooter.

– I heard someone shouting, Stop this guy. He came from the opposite direction. I didn’t have time to think more, I just acted on instinct. I hit him from behind, Contreras told CNN.
