The long-term face of the Auction Hunters program Darrell Sheets died at the age of 67 last month.
Officers found 67-year-old Sheets dead in her home in Arizona in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 22. Sheets is believed to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The police are investigating the death and are now going through Sheets’ phone due to the recent cyberbullying allegations.
– We are now investigating cyberbullying claims related to this case. Police have seized Darrell Sheets’ phone for their investigation, officials said For Us Weekly.
The Auction Hunters program has been produced for 17 production seasons since 2010. Sheets was one of the show’s main characters for the first 15 seasons until 2023, appearing in a total of 163 episodes.
Sheets was known by the nickname “The Gambler” because he used to make risky purchases at the show’s auctions. In Finland, Huutokauppa hunters has been shown by MTV.
Sheets said he had a heart attack in 2019. After leaving the show and auctions behind, Sheets moved from California to Arizona and ran his own antique store. Sheets had two children. Tiffany-daughter and Brandon-boy also appeared in Huutokauppa hunters.
