On Friday last week in Lahti, a 10-year-old child was drowned at Pajulahti beach.
The child was a participant in the summer camp of the Helsinki FC Kontu Football Club.
Police have said that the boy was swimming and did not suspect the crime in the accident. Police are investigating the case as an investigation into the cause of death.
Chairman of the FC Kontu Board of Directors Sami Leinonen Comment on the incident to Iltalehti on Monday.
He said that the club would do its own aftermath and internal handling of events.
– There is no acute hurry. We are now focusing on supporting volunteers and hired employees in their coping, aftercare and crisis, he said on Monday.
Leinonen said he would not dare to evaluate when the club would take its own reports.
– Certainly it takes a while. The camp ended only yesterday, and now we are focusing on the well -being of crisis and clubs, he decided.
Society’s CEO Maria Estonian told Iltalehti on Saturday that a few teams had gone to the beach to swim between exercises and meals. There were also adults of adults.
– It is in our safety guidelines to go swimming with adults. It is a common beach that, of course, there are swimmers there, Virolainen said.
