Vent Moto changes pace. The company in Introbio, in Valsassina, (Lecco) announced a new corporate structure: the engineer. Ampelio Macchi joins the shareholding structure as the majority shareholder with responsibility for the strategy and evolution of the range, while Eng. Quirino Tironi assumes the role of General Manager with the task of guiding the operational implementation of the projects. The plan includes a strong product relaunch and the focus is definitely on the younger generations. An overview of the programs for the near future will be revealed at Eicma 2025 (as always scheduled at the Rho-Milan Fair) where it will bring the R&D results currently in progress.

The roots of Vent lie in the industrial history of Moto SpA, founded in 1983 in Bindo in Valsassina as a company that has linked its name to Italian off-road, starting from trial. In the 1980s the company was the Montesa importer for the national market, and then expanded with the distribution of Honda cross models. A path that has trained technical skills and typical off-road sectors. The Vent brand debuts in 2017inheriting the technical heritage and experience of Moto/HM and bringing the production of the 50 and 125 back to Introbio. A passing of the baton that explains the brand’s familiarity with small displacements.

In the short term, R&D is working on new technological and design solutions for expand the range while maintaining traditional quality standards. The direction is clear, to offer accessible, robust and satisfying motorbikes, capable of accompanying newbies in the leap from passion to practice, with an eye to performance, style and reliability. The declared objective is to present the fruits of this work at Eicma. The profile of the new leaders helps to understand the route: Ampelio Macchi brings a long experience between technique and racing, gained since the early 1980s, while Tironi adds a managerial vision oriented towards the product and processes.
proof of facts

The industrial ambitions have a concrete sporting impact, as confirmed by the Vent 50 which completed the 99th International Six Days of Enduro in Bergamo. Fifteen-year-old Mattia Cagnoni in fact finished 177th in the Club Team Awards ranking (out of 465 at the finish line) and 73rd in the C1 category. A result that is worth double because it was obtained with a moped (naturally the free version, not the Code) with much larger displacements. The “fifty” is not just a driving school, but also real reliability when the project is on target and the sports management is attentive (the general media also focused on Cagnoni’s achievement, confirming the symbolic importance of the arrival with a 50). And the governance move is consistent with the history of the Vent brand, which has always been close to young people and “real” off-road vehicles. The 50 and 125 cc formed the backbone of the brand and a training ground for riders and mechanics.
