The Hague – Gasunie wants to connect the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Scandinavia through its pipelines for the supply of affordable sustainable energy. Willemien Terpstra sees this role in Europe as the new CEO of Gasunie. “You must have good infrastructure to keep the Netherlands an attractive location. That is good for our economy and employment.” The Dutch industry needs rapid support for sustainability, says Terpstra. A ‘top priority’, otherwise it will have ‘disastrous’ consequences for the economy.
