On September 4, 2023, King Willem-Alexander, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, with effect from September 5, 2023:
- Minister Mr. ENAJ Schreinemacher relieved of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and charged with matters relating to Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation;
- Minister HGJ Bruins Slot relieved of the leadership of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and charged with the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Minister HM de Jonge in charge of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations;
- Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, ir. CEG van Gennip, appointed Deputy Prime Minister.
This has been announced by the King’s Cabinet.
