The shirt manufacturer Desoto appoints Mario Zimmermann as managing director. Zimmermann will take up his new role next January, the Forchheim-based company announced on Monday.
The designated managing director will share his new position with the current managing director, Heino Putnai, for the first nine months. According to the statement, he will remain with the company for a transitional period until he leaves Desoto at his own request in September 2024.
For Zimmermann it is a return to Desoto. Back in 2015, he worked for almost three years as Head of Sales for the DACH region at the jersey specialist, which is part of Weber & Ott AG. He then moved to the shirt specialist Olymp, where he worked as Head of National Sales for six years.
