Rudi Garcia becomes the new coach of the Belgian national soccer team. The Frenchman succeeds Domenico Tedesco, who had to go after the last disappointing appearances.
Belgium’s Football Association KBVB announced the decision on Friday morning. The 60 -year -old Garcia recently trained the Italian club SSC Naples, where he was released in November 2023 after only 16 games.
Previously, the Frenchman sat on the bench at AS Rome, Olympique Marseille and Olympique Lyon, in the 2022/23 season he trained superstar Cristiano Ronaldo at the Saudi club Al Nassr.

Garcia will be officially presented on Friday together with the Icelander Elisabet Gunnarsdottir, the new trainer of the Belgian national team.
