Liberty Fashion Holding GmbH appoints industry experts Thomas Rothe into the role of CEO.
The previous boss Anja Hecht-Meinhardt left the company for a little more than half a year for personal reasons and in the best agreement to be able to devote herself fully to her family, said Lübbecke’s women’s fashion provider, which was located in Lübbecke in North Rhine-Westphalia, on Thursday. Rothe succeeded January 13th.

Most recently, Rothe was active for the Rottendorfer clothing provider S.Oliver Group as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Before that, he held this role at the Nuremberg fashion dealer Wöhrl. Rothe also brings experience from management positions at Leeidunsganbieter such as Wolford, Adler fashion markets and Takko Fashion.
At Liberty, he is responsible for the strategic orientation of the company and the operational business. The aim is to further expand the core areas of retail and online and to expand in Germany and Austria, where the first branch in Innsbruck was opened in August.
“I am pleased and my advisory board colleagues that with Thomas Rothe as CEO, we now have a designated textile expert with a high strategic and organizational know-how on board Liberty and that I have found a” sparring partner “as a partner with which I with Together, Liberty’s long-term growth potential can further develop and implement them consistently, ”said Liberty owner Peter Wolf.
However, Rothe is not the only new occupation at Liberty, and in October the company Kirsten Klatte has already appointed the Head of Buying Product and Jens Krause to the Head of Retail.
Liberty runs around 120 own branches in Germany and has also been represented with a location in Austria since August 2024.
