Victoria Beckham Ltd. Hands Sybille Darricarrère Lunel to the new CEO.

Darricarrère Lunel takes on her new task at the British fashion house with effect from July 1, said Victoria Beckham on Monday. She takes over the position of Chairman Ralph Toledano, who holds the role as ACTING CEO, and will work from the brand’s headquarters.

“Your entrepreneurial spirit, your enthusiasm and your intelligence addressed me immediately at our first meeting,” said Toledano. “Your previous career and your understanding of the product make you the perfect CEO for our brand. I am sure that after the successes of the past few years and with the support of our great team, you will consider the growth of Victoria Beckham considerably.”

New CEO gains experience with Dior, Galeries Lafayette and The Kooples

The new CEO comes from the French fashion house Christian Dior Couture, where it was active as a global business unit director for leather goods. In this position, she looked after the global product range over five collections per year and worked closely with teams from the areas of creation, production, sales, retail and communication. Before Dior, Darricarrère Lunel worked as General Merchandise and Buying Director at the French luxury fashion retailer Galeries Lafayette for women’s fashion, men’s fashion, accessories, lingerie and children’s clothing.

She also gained experience with the Paris brand The Kooples. There she received a “deep understanding and knowledge of trade strategies and retail growth as well as extensive experience in collection planning and in merchandising,” said the message.
