Harry Kane is having a new villa built in his homeland. This is reminiscent of a well-known building – and has luxurious rooms in the basement.
Bayern star Harry Kane is apparently already planning his future after his time in Munich. As the British tabloid “The Sun” reports, the 32-year-old is currently having a villa built near London. The property in Surrey is said to be worth 20 million pounds (around 23 million euros). The construction is in its final stages.
The plans for the property and the building show that there will be space for five cars in the underground car park. A special feature is also a rotating platform that costs around 20,000 pounds (around 23,000 euros). This should allow the cars to be maneuvered out of tight parking spaces without any problems.
According to the report, the basement of the villa also offers luxurious rooms. There will be a cinema, a pool, a bar, a treatment room and a fitness studio there. The plans would further show four bedrooms for Kane and his family, as well as two en-suite rooms for the household staff.
In terms of appearance, the building is reminiscent of one of the most famous monuments in England: Buckingham Palace. The main reason for this is the Georgian-style windows and the columns at the entrance. The residence of the British monarchy in London has comparable elements.
It is not yet clear when Kane, his wife Kate and their four children will return home. The England captain’s contract with FC Bayern runs until 2027.
Kane still has big plans for Munich this season. Bayern dream of a triple of the championship, DFB Cup and Champions League. The second leg of the quarter-finals against Real Madrid is scheduled for Wednesday in the premier class. Bayern won the first leg 2-1. Kane scored the goal to make it 2-0.
