Never tested before: it turned out that contaminated baby powder is up to 75 times more toxic after preparation

Sciensano has made an alarming discovery in the ongoing crisis surrounding contaminated powdered milk from multinationals such as Nestlé and Danone. The internationally recognized test method massively underestimates the presence of the poison cereulide, because it is only performed on dry powder. However, when the powder is dissolved in water – just as a baby drinks it – up to 75 times more of the dangerous toxin is released.
