"Never given instructions" To intervene, former Minister De Clerck tells the ‘Operation Kelk’ investigation committee

Former Minister of Justice Stefaan De Clerck explained on Friday before the parliamentary inquiry committee ‘Operation Kelk’ about the contacts that took place between his ministry and the court. He acknowledges that those contacts have indeed been there. “But instructions have never been given,” he says, even though not all committee members appear to be convinced.
