Never before have so many singles gone on group trips: +25% in a year. “One or two couples arise every holiday”

Never before have singles so often opted for a group trip. This is evident from figures from the Belgian Travel Confederation and a survey from our editors. Travel agencies we spoke to have seen demand increase by an average of 25 percent compared to last year. But what is it really like on such a journey? Three tour guides talk. “At least one couple is created per trip,” says Petra Michiels (51).
