The decision to use Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in the top game at Bayer Leverkusen has apparently been made. “Bild” and Sport1 unanimously report that the goalkeeper will be in the goal of the German record champions. Finally, it was questionable whether the ailing Neuer would be able to play. Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel recently said he would give Neuer “until 5 p.m.” on match day.
The 36-year-old was unable to train during the week due to knee problems, and Bayern were worried for a long time. But now Neuer is said to have given the green light to play in the cracker at the top of the table on Saturday afternoon.
