The island cottage of pop star Nelli Matula’s family experienced a real makeover.

Villa & scream In the new season of the series, singer Nelli Matula’s family’s island cottage is visited. The singer and his parents Yucca and Retta say that one of their wishes for change is to convert the old sauna into a bedroom.
– I’ve tried to see if a mattress could fit there. There’s no way it will fit, says Nelli the interior architect in the episode To Mikko Vesase.
The interior architect admits that the task is not easy.
– I would say that the biggest challenge at this stage is the design of the new bedroom and how to connect it to the current building. It is now the old sauna, it has been moved there from the outside. Visually, it’s a pretty narrow space. The bed takes up quite a lot of space. We wanted a closet and other living space there, so sizing it can be challenging, Mikko reflects.
At the end of the episode, we saw how the transformation of the old sauna into a bedroom made the whole family gasp.
– Lovely! Look at that bed, Nelli exclaims.
