Neiman Marcus Group Names Tom Mattei Chief Legal Officer

The US trading group Neiman Marcus Group has a new general counsel. On Thursday, the company announced the appointment of Tom Mattei as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.

Mattei has taken on the new responsibilities with immediate effect in addition to his previous position as Chief Compliance Officer and will continue to report to CEO Geoffroy van Raemdonck, the retailer said. In his expanded role, Mattei is now responsible for all legal and risk-related processes as well as corporate governance.

The legal expert joined Neiman Marcus Group in 2020 as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Since then, he has taken on positions with increasing responsibility and most recently served as interim chief legal officer, the group said.
