Neil Young will go on tour in 2025. On Thursday (February 20), he already teased on his website that he will announce appointments for concerts in North America, Europe and Great Britain next Monday (February 24). However, the news was deleted a short time later.

Young wrote loudly “Far out”: “Music connects! We will be with you! Join all of us when we celebrate the Summer of Democracy. Old songs and new songs. Old words and new words. Long Jams! We will be together this summer. “

The 79-year-old also assured: “The Chrome Hearts and I are ready for you! Love and democracy rule in the USA and the world. ”

Since appointments have not yet been officially announced, it cannot be said at least at the current time whether Young will also come to Germany during its European tour.

It was clear a few weeks ago that Neil Young was confirmed with a headliner gig at the Glastonbury Festival in 2025 (even if there were initially minor misunderstandings at the announcement).

A first album with his new band The Chrome Hearts – with which he will also go on tour – is already ready. In addition, on March 7th, “Oceanside Countryside” a lost album by Neil Young with songs from the “Comes A Time” time will be released.

The ten songs were recorded together with sound engineer Tim Mulligan between May and December 1977. As stated in a message, the now published LP “The same country/folk sound” and three songs (“Goin ‘Back”, ‘Human Highway’ and ‘Field of Opportunity’) can be heard on both albums. Other pieces of the record found their way to other recordings.
