A bicycle thief was arrested in Tilburg on Saturday after a chase. Local residents helped the agents with this. The bicycle thief is a 19-year-old man from the Belgian Poppel.
A woman from Tilburg warned the police earlier on the day after she thought that her electric bicycle was for sale on an online sales site. That bike was stolen the day before.
She made an appointment with the selling party at the sports center on Stappegoorweg. She agreed with the police that she would send a message if she was sure that it was her bike that the seller had with her.
Hare
When the purchase was settled, the police arrived. The seller was shocked, he ran away like a hare. He ran into the sports center, closely followed by agents.
