As of: November 23, 2025 8:25 a.m

The Sacramento Kings stopped their losing streak with a completely unlikely win against the Denver Nuggets. The German international Dennis Schröder was their best thrower, although he was pushed out of the starting lineup.

Schröder and the Kings (4:13) are only 14th and therefore second to last in the West, but a series of eight defeats ended on Saturday – the strong Denver Nuggets (12:4) led by superstar Nikola Jokic managed a 128:123 defeat.

World and European champion Schröder came off the bench with 21 points (7 assists) and, together with Russell Westbrook (21), who pushed the German out of the starting lineup, was his team’s best thrower. The outstanding man of the evening was the Serbian Jokic with 44 points and 13 rebounds, but the Nuggets still suffered only their fourth defeat of the season.
