Defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder became the first NBA team to reach the second round of the North American Basketball League playoffs.
The champions with Isaiah Hartenstein from Lower Saxony also won the fourth duel in the series against the Phoenix Suns and moved into the semi-finals of the Western Conference undefeated with a score of 131:122. There it will probably be against the Los Angeles Lakers, who are 3-1 ahead in their series against the Houston Rockets.
Gilgeous Alexander: “Are a group of good kids”
In Phoenix, OKC had the game largely under control and prevailed confidently. Center Hartenstein delivered a so-called double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds.
The best thrower was once again Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The candidate for the award as the most valuable player of the season had 31 points. “We were ready”said the Canadian. “We love playing basketball. We’re a group of good kids that just love playing together.”
