Gerhard Kornelis from Zoutkamp shared an endless colorful collection of birds with the world. The nature photographer, who mainly took pictures around the Lauwersmeer area, has passed away. He was 65 years old.
The family of Gerhard Kornelis announces this with a post on the photographer’s Twitter account. He passed away after a short illness. “He will be greatly missed.”
Kornelis shared his work on Twitter. He made his many followers happy with the photos of a colorful collection of birds and other animals that live in the Lauwersmeer and Wadden area. Here and there with a humorous and witty caption. He did that for more than ten years.
His work was also shared in nature magazines and publications about the northern nature reserve.
