Hungary has disgraced England in the Nations League – the European vice champion is threatened with relegation. Holland celebrated a last-minute victory.
The Three Lions stumble after the 0: 4 (0: 1) home defeat in the direction of relegation, Hungary stormed to the top of the Germany group. A fight for the play-off place in Group A4 is looming between the Netherlands and Belgium. Both teams did their duty in the evening.
England had not lost to Hungary since 1962, but now it happened twice in just ten days. The Hungarians are surprisingly leaders, England remains last with only two points. Rolland Sallai (13′, 70′) from SC Freiburg, Zsolt Nagy (80′) and Daniel Gazdag (89′) scored for the Hungarians, John Stones had to leave the field with yellow-red (82′).
Depay causes a late cheer
