For Nick Woltemade, his new club continues to run according to plan. The striker also cheered over a goal in the Champions League.

Newcastle United has scored its first three points in the new Champions League season with a significant success in Belgium. After the opening of the FC Barcelona two weeks ago (1: 2), the English rolled over 4-0 (2-0) on Wednesday evening.

Nick Woltemade took care of the tour. After completing Sandro Tonali, the German international promoted the ball into the goal (17th minute). For Woltemade it was the third goal for the “Magpies” since his summer change from Stuttgart to Newcastle-and his first in the Champions League. The other goals for Newcastle scored Anthony Gordon (43./Foulelfmeter, 64th/trade) and Harvey Barnes (80th).

In the parallel game, Qarabağ Ağdam surprisingly won against FC Copenhagen. The Kazakhs won 2-0 and, after two games, are actually already six points. Qarabağ had already won the first game sensationally after 0-2 deficit with 3-2 at Benfica Lisbon.

Against Copenhagen, Abdellah Zoubir (28th) and Emmanuel Addai (83.) out of the way. The former Dortmund and international Youssoufa Moukoko was replaced by the Danes at half -time.
