Nantes-Psg 0-2: Mbappé on the bench, then comes on and scores

A suspect bench, but still decisive. In Nantes, PSG prevailed with a goal from Hernandez and a penalty from Mbappé. But the striker didn’t start at the start. An exclusion that he smells of retaliation, after the confirmation of his farewell at the end of the season arrived. Real Madrid is waiting for him. In the meantime, the seven-year Parisian season needs to be concluded as best as possible, even beyond the suspected evening reprisal, swept away with the 21st seal in the championship, applauded by the away fans.

Therefore, PSG starts without Mbappé, but not even Dembélé and Hakimi, as well as Ruiz and Beraldo. Against Real Sociedad there was a certain balance in terms of possession, especially in the first half, before Mbappé took over to pave the way for the victory (2-0). The first round in Nantes, however, is a monologue, but without interest. However, the backup KM (Kolo Muani), deployed in place of the real KM (Kylian Mbappé), does not scare anyone. Beyond the record 82% possession, and a treacherous cross shot from Barcola (10′), Luis Enrique’s team did not get any chances, failing to find the hole in Nantes’ fort which instead put Donnarumma in danger in the hundredth minute with PSG: a diagonal shot from Mohamed which the Italian deflects with his foot towards Cozza who is blocked at the last minute by Marquinhos (47′). On the corner, Pallois also scores, but before that there was an offside.

For the second half, Lucho removed Barcola, but for Ramos, moving Kolo Muani to the left, the natural habitat of the number 7 who was only inserted in the 16th minute, immediately after Hernandez’s opener: a shot from the left deflected by Sissoko. With Mbappé on the pitch to the applause of the entire stadium, and together with Dembélé and Hakimi, the Parisian attacking front lights up. And if in the 25th minute Donnarumma closes in on Mohamed’s narrow diagonal shot from the left, in the 33rd minute here comes Mbappé, ruthless from the spot. And the attacker finished the match with the captain’s armband on his arm, after Marquinhos’ exit (24′). At the final whistle, the striker is applauded by his fans to whom he gives the shirt, a souvenir of the first stage of the farewell tour.
