Brazilian volleyball player Mariana Costa37, has found a new club in Romania.
The woman operating in the position of the left front player moved to CSM Bucharest at the beginning of the year.
Costa, who has experienced the Swiss, Italian and Greek leagues, has given an interview to the local Sport.ro website, in which, in addition to current rumors, the event that made him known worldwide is discussed.
In 2012, Costa responded affirmatively to an offer from Playboy Brazil.
– It was an experience that I regret. That is a thing of the past, Costa states now, 12 years later.
After the revealing photos, she was called the volleyball muse.
– I don’t see myself as a muse, but as an athlete. That’s why I don’t want to talk about it because it’s something I’ve left behind.
The publicity that poured in overnight took a toll. Costa even left volleyball for a while, but finally decided to return to the courts and continue his career.
He is enjoying himself in Bucharest.
– There are two other Brazilians here that I knew from before, so I’m really happy. I’m still trying to get to know the team and the country, but so far I’ve really liked what I’ve seen.
