Nahir Mariana Galarzasentenced to a sentence of life imprisonment as the sole person responsible for the crime of Fernando Pastorizzoperpetrated on December 29, 2017 in the city of Gualeguaychu, he turned 25 years old and his sixth birthday in prison, in Penal Unit No. 6 of Paraná (Entre Ríos).
Yamina Kroh and Aaron Galarza, Nahir’s mother and brother respectively, accompanied the inmate’s celebration as in the previous five birthdays. The defense represented by lawyers José Ostolaza and Pablo Sotelomaintains that Nahir was judged with “discrimination, lack of Gender Perspective and failure to comply with all international conventions signed by Argentina on Gender Violence and Protection of Women.
