Germany’s World Cup squad: There is clarity on this day

The DFB has officially confirmed the date for the squad announcement – four days before the last Bundesliga matchday. Two pieces of data are important for the decision.
National coach Julian Nagelsmann will announce the German World Cup squad on May 12th at 1 p.m. The German Football Association announced this. The exact location of the announcement has not yet been determined.
Before that, the national team will play their last international match before being nominated on Monday against Ghana (from 8:45 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online) in Stuttgart. The World Cup preparation begins on May 25th with a training camp in Herzogenaurach.
Nagelsmann must report to FIFA a pre-selection of a maximum of 55 players by May 11th. He will announce the final squad with 26 players at the beginning of June. He can also name more actors beforehand.
On June 2nd, the DFB selection will travel to Chicago after a friendly against Finland in Mainz. The dress rehearsal against co-hosts USA will take place there on June 6th (8:30 p.m./CEST). The team will move into World Cup camp on June 8th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
In the group stage, Germany will face Curacao in Houston on June 14th, Ivory Coast in Toronto on June 20th and Ecuador on June 25th. The last group game takes place in the final stadium in East Rutherford near New York.
