National coach Julian Nagelsmann has expressed a clear lack of understanding of the handling of FC Barcelona with Marc-André Ter Stegen. Germany’s number one is said to be a candidate for sales for the Spanish champion. That’s why he can go into the situation relatively relaxed,” said Nagelsmann. Nevertheless, it is human that it is concerned with “if you don’t get any information, how it goes on”. It is not his job to say what others should do and what not, the national coach emphasized: “But it is a wish that I have for Marc. But he needs not worrying about his sporting future wherever.”

Nagelsmann praised Ter Stegen for his strong comeback in the DFB after almost nine months of international break because of a patella tendon tear in his knee. According to media reports, FC Barcelona is planning a change in his squad on the goalkeeper position, and for a few weeks now Joan García from the city rival Espanyol has been a candidate for the position between the posts. The Spanish newspaper “Sport” wrote immediately before the international weekend, Ter Stegen would feel and “attacked” by the club and especially coach Flick.
