It was an evening full of mixed results for the teams from Brabant in the Kitchen Champion Division on Friday. Many eyes were on NAC Breda, where returning trainer Peter Hyballa won 5-1 against Young AZ, which did receive a red card.
PEC Zwolle has distanced itself from Heracles Almelo in the Kitchen Champion Division at the expense of TOP Oss. The leader was too strong for their own audience with 4-1. Rick Dekker equalized for TOP Oss (1-1), but that was ultimately to no avail.
That was good news for the people of Eindhoven. The second-classified Heracles Almelo lost the away match against FC Eindhoven (1-0). Evan Rottier helped FC Eindhoven win against Heracles. FC Eindhoven thus reduced the gap to Heracles to 5 points.
Other competitions
Other Brabant teams got stuck on a draw. Den Bosch played a draw against MVV in-house. It was a real goal fest. The match ended in a 3-3 draw. Helmond Sport also played a draw, 1-1 against Jong Ajax.
