NAC wins at VVV, Helmond Sport draws in Oss

In the Kitchen Champion Division, NAC did good business on Friday evening. The team from Breda won 1-3 against the higher ranked VVV in Venlo. TOP Oss played at home against Helmond Sport; the teams did not get further than a draw (2-2) in a heated duel. TOP relinquished a 2-0 lead.

NAC Breda was not the only team that played across the eastern provincial border. Elsewhere in Limburg, in Maastricht at MVV, FC Eindhoven narrowly lost against the home club. It became 3-2. The formation of trainer Rob Penders failed to take a 0-2 lead after 17 minutes (Evan Rottier missed a penalty kick at 0-1).

Nevertheless, on Friday evening it was mainly about PEC Zwolle, which took even further distance from Heracles Almelo in the championship race. The leader of the Kitchen Champion Division beat Jong FC Utrecht 2-0.
