Country fans in Hamburg can look forward to a real highlight, because Tyler Childers is coming to the Hanseatic city. As part of his “Mule Pull” tour, he will perform there on February 26, 2023 at the Docks.
Childers couldn’t be a better representation of traditional country and bluegrass. The 32-year-old was born in the US state of Kentucky, home of other genre representatives such as Crystal Gayle, Chris Stapelton and Loretta Lynn. Childers comes from a working-class family and started playing the guitar at the age of 13.
At 19 he released his first album, BOTTLES AND BIBLES, which went largely unnoticed. It was only with the follow-up PURGATORY from 2017 that he managed to attract attention in the country scene in the USA. His biggest hit to date was CAN I TAKE MY HOUNDS TO HEAVEN?, released in 2022, which peaked at number eight on the US Billboard chart.
His new album RUSTIN’ IN RAIN will be released on September 8th, which Childers wants to promote with a world tour. On February 26, 2024 he will perform for an exclusive concert in Hamburg at Docks. Online ticket sales start on September 14 at 10 a.m wizpro.
