Although Koers, the Museum of Cycling in Roeselare, already exhibited a post card from Defraeye, there was so far a real cycling object from the Tour winner. That is now changing. The board of the Friends of Koers was able to get the coveted yellow honorary tone through a private collector that Defraeye received in 1912 in his victory in the Tour of Belgium, a few weeks before his triumph in the Tour.
