In the second set, the rain began in Rome. The last rallies between Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) and Daniil Medvedev (Association of Russia) took place in the event of a strong rainfall. At 7: 5, 5: 4 and 40:30 and her own serve from the point of view of Musetti, the referee had no choice but to interrupt the game.
It started an almost two -hour waiting time before the players could go back to the square. They first played in, then Musetti converted his match ball with a crashing forehand – and the game was over again.
